chinese composition… could use some work. but I’m going to be writing a lot more of these.
从前有一只老虎。 老虎住在小猴住的森林里。 那天老虎快饿死了。 因为老虎最喜欢吃猴，所以他去捕食。 他爬上每棵树去找猴。 在一棵树上有我们友好的朋友小猴。 老虎觉得小猴看起来很好吃，所以继续向上爬。 突然小猴跳进云里去。老虎试着跟踪小猴，但是云太高了。 老虎没有放弃！ 他建造了一架梯子伸向云端。 爬上梯子以后，老虎看不到小猴。 他只看他小时候的家。 他在那个家找小猴，可是他妈妈想跟他说话。 他妈妈说，不应该捕猴，因为他是你的弟弟！ 老虎哭了。 他仍然想吃他的弟弟，但是他妈妈打了他。 因为他不想伤害妈妈， 老虎爬下梯子，爬下树，吃了很多猫咪。 吃了一百只猫咪以后，一只大大的猫咪出现了！大猫说，请不要吃我的孩子。 老虎听不懂， 所以吃掉了大猫。
Long ago there was a tiger. Tiger lived in the same forest as Little Monkey. One day Tiger was really hungry. Because Tiger’s favorite food was monkeys, he went hunting. He climbed every tree to find monkeys. In one tree was our friendly friend, Little Monkey. Tiger thought Little Monkey looked really delicious, so he climbed further up the tree. Suddenly Little Monkey jumped into the clouds. Tiger tried to follow, but the clouds were too high. Tiger did not give up! He built a ladder to the clouds. After climbing the ladder, Tiger could not find Monkey. He only saw his childhood home. He looked for Little Monkey inside the house, but his mother wanted to talk to him. His mother said, you should not eat Little Monkey, because he is your younger brother. Tiger cried. He still wanted to eat his younger brother, but his mother hit him. Because he did not want to hurt his mother, Tiger climbed down the ladder, climbed down the tree, and ate a lot of cats. After eating a hundred cats, a really big cat appeared. The big cat said, please do not eat my children. Tiger did not understand, so he ate the big cat.
